Anders als über das Wetter lässt sich über Klima nur sprechen, wenn man Entwicklungen über länge Zeiträume beobachtet.
Für einen kompakten Workshop bietet es sich indessen an, die Aufmerksamkeit das Mikroklima von Orten zu richten, das die Atmosphäre räumlich begrenzter Zonen bestimmt und sich von demjenigen benachbarter Räume mitunter markant unterscheidet.
Denn nicht nur das Klima, sondern auch das Mikroklima entscheidet darüber, wie das (Zusammen-)Leben im Biotop Stadt funktioniert. Und ähnlich wie das Klima wird auch das Mikroklima durch den Menschen, sein individuelles und soziales Handeln beeinflusst.
Es könnte sich also lohnen, mehr über Bremerhavens Mikroklima(?Zonen) herauszufinden – besonders dann, wenn man sich für common spaces interessiert.

While we are pretty much used to observation-based daily rants about the weather, talking about climate seriously affords to take much longer periods of time in account. For a more compact climate research, however, we can focus our attention on microclimate: locally delimited atmospheric zone(s), characterized by a set of remarkable criteria rendering them different compared to the areas in their surrounding. Obviously, not only climate in general, but also microclimate is decisive for the way life and living together work in urban biotopes. Similar to climate, also microclimate is influenced by humans, by their individual as well as by their social behaviour. Therefore, it should be worthwile to research microclimate(-zones) in urban spaces (in this case: in the city of Bremerhaven – especially if we are interested in the way(s) common spaces are built and used.
