Eine Landschaft inmitten und zugleich jenseits von Raum und Zeit: Die Zone. Sicher: Jede Landschaft lebt von und in Veränderung. Aber bei dieser kannst Du spüren, dass etwas anders ist. Jeder Schritt, den Du machst, führt Dich auf unbekanntes Terrain; Vertrautheit existiert nur im Vorschein und hält kaum länger als für einen Atemzug, bevor sie sich als Täuschung erweist. Doch genau das macht die Faszination dieser Landschaft aus. Wer ihr einmal zu nahe gekommen ist, kann sich ihr nicht mehr entziehen…

"Into the Zone" ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk, inspiriert von Andrei Tarkowskis legendärem Film "Stalker" (1979), der seinerseits auf einem Kapitel des Romans "Picknick am Wegesrand" der Brüder Arkadi und Boris Strugazki aus dem Jahr 1971 basiert.
Eine Gemeinschaftsproduktion von Jack Hertz und Total E.T. (I. v. Martinez). Ein Film zum Hören. 2014 produziert und 2016 bei Aural Films erschienen (Aural Films Catalog No. AF0039R – cc-by-nc-nd). Aural Films ist ein (Netz-)Label, das auf Musik für Filme spezialisiert ist, die es nicht zu sehen, wohl aber zu hören gibt.

A landscape right in the center and all at once beyond time and space: The Zone. Sure, every landscape lives by and with transformation. However, this one is different. You can feel it. Every step you take will guide you into unknown territories; trust is merely limited to appearances, dissolving with a single breath of air to reveal delusion with the next. But then this is exactly what drives the fascination of this landscape: whoever comes too close will be absorbed…

"Into the Zone" is a Gesamtkunstwerk, inspired by Andrei Tarkowski's legendary film "Stalker" (1979), based on a chapter of the novel "Roadside Picnic" by the brothers Arkadi and Boris Strugazki from 1971.
A collaboration of Jack Hertz and Total E.T. (I. v. Martinez). A movie for the ears. Produced in 2014 and released by Aural Films in 2016 (Aural Films Catalog No. AF0039R – cc-by-nc-nd). Aural Films is a (net)label specialized in soundtracks for movies that do not exist in a visual format.
